Bernie Kennedy has worked as a Corporate Communications professional for junior mining companies since 1997. Most recently, as President and CEO of Tarku Resources Ltd., he obtained a TSX.V listing and prepared the company for the next level of management before stepping down in early 2016. Working with a broad range of investors he has successfully raised over $15 million dollars for various mining exploration projects and has managed a multitude of marketing and promotional campaigns.
In 2006 Bernie moved back to the East Kootenays to raise his family in Cranbrook. They are thrilled to be back in the mountains and enjoy everything the area has to offer! They are very active in the local minor sports and outdoor communities.

Like flatlanders and city dwellers everywhere, Darren always wondered what it would be like to live in the Rocky Mountains. He moved to Cranbrook in 2016 and soon realized the Kootenay lifestyle was a true paradise - even better than he had imagined. With world class scenery and all the outdoor activities you could ever want, Darren found the perfect place to raise his young son.
After studying business at Georgian College in Barrie Ontario, Darren proceeded to work as a Consultative Sales Executive specializing in Content and Document Management in the GTA. Passionate about providing first class service he quickly moved through the ranks to become an Executive with Canada’s leading Legal Facilities management organization based out of Downtown Toronto. A sales professional in the best context, he understands his clients needs, designs a solution and follows though.

Since 2002, Munir has acted as President of a private real estate investment company which managed over $10 million in real estate assets as well as a significant mortgage investment portfolio.
He has served as the Director of Finance for a large national retailer where he was responsible for taxation, treasury and financial reporting of a consolidated group of companies with revenues in excess of $1.2 billion per annum. Munir was involved with securing and managing syndicated credit facilities of $100 million dollars, and implemented various corporate restructuring and tax optimization initiatives. In addition, he was instrumental in executing an initial public offering. Munir graduated from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce and furthered his professional education by obtaining his Chartered Accountant designation while working with Deloitte and Touche.
